Established in 1992, Global Partners is a non-profit organization committed to facilitating intercultural understanding, global competence and friendship. We accomplish these goals through innovative homestay and youth exchange programs throughout North America.

Global Partners is committed to providing our students with quality English and French instruction and outstanding cultural experiences, while creating memories and friendships that will last a life time. Homestay is an integral part of our programs. Students are placed in North American homes and become part of the family. Our Host Families are carefully selected so that students and families are matched based on common interests and personalities. The Global Partners homestay experience is complemented by the fundamentals learned while participating in classroom and group activities.

Global Partners delivers world-class programs in communities all across North America. We are able to do this because of the strong partnerships that we have fostered over the years with host families, schools, teachers and city and town governments. Our Head Office is located in the coastal city of Vancouver in the western province of British Columbia. We maintain regional offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Ottawa, and Abbotsford. These areas are the most popular destinations for our short-term programs. To learn more about each area, click on the city name. Other popular program destinations are Winnipeg, Toronto, Guelph, Kelowna and Victoria. Requests for programs in other cities can easily be accommodated to fulfill the needs of your group.

Global Partners Staff

Students and their parents can feel safe and secure knowing that a Homestay Coordinator is on-call 24-hours a day to answer any questions or handle any concerns that they might have.

To ensure an enjoyable, quality learning experience, Global Partners' teachers are carefully chosen based on their expertise, enthusiasm and commitment to international exchange. As graduates of our Teacher Training Program, the instructors strive for learner-centered environments, which emphasize natural communication. Curricula are tailor-made to meet the needs of each group. Whether your language level is beginner, intermediate or advanced, we have the program that is just right for you!
