Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program

Students typically arrive at the end of August /January, and study in Canada for up to a full school year at local schools and live with local families. The student's main role while in Canada is that of a "Cultural Ambassador". Students are selected on the basis of their maturity, dedication to the ideals of international exchange, their ability and willingness to act as a ambassadors for their home countries, regions and schools, and their English ability. ESL support is not provided on this program.

  • CRITERIA:
  • Minimum 70% of grade average or 3.0 GPA required.
  • Flexible and socially/culturally adaptable person.
  • 13 to 17 years of age.
  • Globally minded (international interest/perspective)
  • Be able to conduct daily life without physical or mental concerns.
  • Be mature and capable of handling adjustment to life in Canada.
  • Have the necessary English language skills and maturity level to study in a Canadian classroom. Students must submit proof of having obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 420 or equivalent SLEP score.
  • Students must have the recommendation of the Principal of their school in their home countries.
